  General Background:
QC (quality circles) was adopted by Thai business and industrial organizations around 1974. Since then, number of both private and government organization implementing the principle as well as human resource and promoting organizations have succeedingly increased. A number of organizations are now actively working on both theoretical and practical issue to promote QC throughout the country. Books papers and documents in the Subject are published. Presentation of QC works done within, between business and industrial organizations and also the national activities have been organized from time to time.

  Establishment of Headquarters:
To strengthen total effort to promote QC in Thailand, most of active QC promoting organizations, associations, centers and the companies which successfully implemented this working concept etc agree to establish QC Headquarters of Thailand as the national organization.

  Objective:

  1. To enhance cooperation between QC promoting organizations, domestic and international.

  2. To be the center for gathering and distributing of the knowledge.

  3. To organize national and international QC presentations.

  4. To support business and industrial firms in their human resource development by mean of QC for economic benefit of the nation

  5. To develop appropriate QC implementation that suit business and industrial firms in Thailand.

  Operation:

  1. Center for QC registration.

  2. Publish QC newsletters.

  3. Provide QC trainings.

  4. Produce QC training materials.

  5. Organize national & international QC conferences.
